21st May is celebrated as International Tea Day every year with the aim to promote sustainable production, trade and consumption of tea. On this occasion, a tea tasting session was organised at Krystal School of Excellence. The students learnt the professional procedure of tea tasting, which is usually carried out by professional tea tasters. The students tasted 5 different types of tea- namely Darjeeling first flush, Assam tea, jasmine tea, passion fruit tea and Kashmiri Kahwa tea. They also learnt how to judge the quality of tea based on flavour, body, colour and aroma.
